After a projected rise in residents in Collin County, Collin College recognized the need to plan for the future of the county’s higher education needs. This educational facility serves more than 7,000 students on its four-building campus with state-of-the-art equipment. They pursue education in high-skill, high-demand careers in growing fields like construction, automotive, collision repair, HVAC, health care, manufacturing, welding, and more.
First Baptist Dallas, located in the heart of downtown, is a church campus containing a 3,000 seat Worship Center, five-story Education Building, Sky Bridge, and 7 level Parking Garage. DynaTen completed this LEED Silver project in 24 months. At the time of construction, this monumental building was the largest Protestant church building campaign in modern history.
The 226,565 square-foot Bush Center sits on a 24-acre lot on the southeast corner of the Southern Methodist University campus. To help achieve the LEED platinum certification, our team installed more than 50 roof-mounted solar hot water panels to aid with domestic water heating. The building design also included a 15-acre urban park featuring native Texas landscaping and regionally sourced materials such as Texas limestone and stained Pecan interior millwork.
The Irving Convention Center project has 100,000-square-feet for meeting space, the main ballroom, junior ballroom, restaurant and bar, fitness center, an outdoor swimming pool, an exhibit hall area designed to accommodate up to 8,000 people, and a sky bridge that connects this project to a 300-car parking garage. This center is conditioned by a central plant providing 2000 Tons of cooling capacity that we installed. As a team member of the design-assist project, we worked with the design team to meet the budget and play our role as the project’s mechanical contractor.
Methodist Richardson Medical Center is a 125-bed, 267,000-square-foot, four-story acute care hospital located at the southeast corner of Renner Road and President George Bush Turnpike. DynaTen provided plumbing and mechanical services for this project and was requested by customers to return for an expansion years later.

This 183,000-square-foot, 50-bed, full-service, non-profit hospital, with an attached 73,000-square-foot MOB, was designed and constructed using the IPD (Integrated Project Delivery) process. DynaTen was selected shortly after choosing the design team based on prior performance at the Flower Mound Presbyterian Hospital project. Our company provided input during the design, construction, and commissioning of the MEP systems. The hospital master plan includes a future three-story vertical expansion to one of the two initial towers, increasing the bed count to well over 100.
Located in the northernmost portion of Fort Worth, Texas, resides one of the most recognizable facilities in the state: Texas Motor Speedway. As one of the largest additions to the metroplex at the time, this project included: 200 private suites, a condominium building, a club building, and seating for over 150,000 people. DynaTen provided design-build services and plumbing work for this NASCAR auto race facility. With plumbing, design, and installation for over 7,000 fixtures, this project included.
